Students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, in collaboration with the Liceo Europeo Foundation, initiate a program of charitable activities that they themselves propose and develop within the school environment, extending it to the entire educational community.

As part of the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) subject, they design projects aimed at raising awareness and engaging classmates, families, and friends of the school.

The school places great importance on values education and experiential learning, which in turn increases students’ motivation to lead these initiatives in partnership with associations and foundations of their choice.

Some of the projects they have coordinated this year include:

> Integration Educational Day: We welcomed a group of children from the Cristo Rey Special Education Center, managed by the Down Syndrome Foundation of Madrid, to share a wide range of activities: crafts workshops, dance, paddle tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming, and more.

> Visit to a community kitchen in San Sebastián de los Reyes to serve meals to people in need.

> Collaboration with theAlzheimer’s Spain Foundation through a charity raffle organized by the students themselves, selling tickets to classmates. All proceeds are donated entirely to research on the disease.

> Food, toy, and school/sports material drives. Donations are delivered to the Ciudad Pegaso Parish, the Food Bank, and the Cadelpa Association, with DLF Spain assisting in the transport of the items.
