The Hufflebot team, made up of a group of robotics students from Liceo Europeo, has qualified to participate in the grand final of the international First LEGO League program.
Robotics students at Liceo Europeo have been participating in the prestigious international First Lego League program for years. The Challenge category of this initiative is aimed at participants aged 10 to 16 and seeks to promote technological and scientific skills through STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
This year, the SUPERPOWERED challenge focuses on the journey of energy, how it is obtained, transported, stored, and consumed.
Over the past few months, the students have had to develop an innovative project that solves a problem in our city related to this year’s theme. In this case, they have designed a pole that generates electricity from the noise produced in different places.
They have built and programmed a robot with LEGO pieces that will perform different missions on a competition table.
After winning first prize for values, robot design, and innovative project in the qualifying tournament recently held in Madrid, they will travel to Murcia for the grand final.
