UNESCO has created the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes 17 Goals so that people around the world can contribute to making our planet a better place.
The Liceo Europeo school, as an IB World School, and in its commitment to a sustainable future, is joining this international initiative by creating ‘My Planet, Your Future’, a collaborative project in which, each month, we will address one of UNESCO’s SDGs through different educational activities and projects.
Using active methodologies that encourage change and action, we raise awareness among students so that they naturally incorporate the principles of sustainability into their daily lives and acquire the skills necessary to become global citizens, with the attributes of the IB learner profile (caring, knowledgeable, inquirers, etc.).
From September until the end of the current school year in June, students at all educational levels will be implementing their projects, which are part of different subjects for transdisciplinary learning and help to foster an open and international mindset and values education.
