SECONDARY
De 12 to 16 years old.
Options:
IB Programme (Middle Years Programme, MYP). Spanish as the language of instruction.
American Program (Vermont Academy, Grades 9 and 10). English as the language of instruction
- A truly multilingual environment. Immersion and curricular learning in Spanish and English, with subjects and assessments also in Chinese, French, and German. Students complete Secondary Education with a high level of language proficiency and may sit for official certifications such as Cambridge CAE, DELF B2, HSK, or FIT 2, as the school is an official examination center.
- Active learning and critical thinking. Students research, create materials, organize ideas, present projects, and participate in debates. They learn to think, argue, and communicate, developing intellectual autonomy.
- Collaborative and experiential methodologies. Cooperative work, interdisciplinary projects, the use of digital tools, and volunteer activities that reinforce social responsibility and teamwork.
- Introduction to the scientific method. Practical work in laboratories plays a central role, where students observe, experiment, formulate hypotheses, and understand concepts through experience.
- Learning connected to the real world. Academic trips, educational outings, cultural visits, and fieldwork that allow students to directly explore historical, scientific, and social contexts.
HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT AND VALUES
Education in values is an essential part of the learning process and is lived daily in the life of the school. Through initiatives such as the CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) subject, volunteer programs, and the many charitable campaigns carried out throughout the school year, students have the opportunity to engage in projects that foster empathy, responsibility, commitment, and social awareness.
This process is always built in close collaboration with families, whom we consider a fundamental part of the educational community. Meeting spaces such as Family Meetings, Breakfast Chats, and other direct participation initiatives allow for sharing reflections, experiences, and tools to support students’ personal growth together. In this way, the school and families work in the same direction: shaping individuals who are committed, empathetic, and conscious of their role in society.
ASSESSMENT AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Our evaluation system is continuous and personalized, focused on individual progress and based on competencies and projects.
In addition, students take internationally recognized external assessments that ensure high educational standards.
This comprehensive approach prepares students to successfully face Baccalaureate studies and higher education globally, while also facilitating the attainment of official language and academic certifications.
