Once again, the Liceo Europeo Foundation is launching its now traditional charity race. We encourage families, students, friends, and runners to join us for this sporting event and show of solidarity.
The Liceo Europeo Foundation, linked to the organization of charity sporting events, among others, is launching this third edition of the Charity Race for the Flowers of Haiti in support of Flores de Kiskeya, a non-profit association focused on the autonomy, independence, and development of women and children in Haiti through four programs: Nutrition, Health, Education, and Empowerment.
Since its inception, the Liceo Europeo school has focused its efforts on supporting the development of educational and curricular projects that include both academic training and values education, and the charity race is an example of this.
The race will be held on Saturday, May 6, at 9:00 a.m. and will feature the following categories: 10K, 5K, and children’s races (400m, 700m, and 1K) for ages 5 and up.
A single route has been planned for both 5K (1 lap) and 10K (2 laps) runners, which runs through the streets of La Moraleja, starting and finishing at Liceo Europeo (C/ Camino Sur 10, 28109 Alcobendas).
All children aged 16 and over who wish to do so may participate in both the 5K and 10K races.
Race numbers and T-shirts can be collected from the Liceo Europeo school (OFICINA PÁDEL), located at C/ Camino Sur, 10, 28109 La Moraleja (Alcobendas), on May 4 and 5, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The price per participant is €13 for adults and €4 for children. Registrations can be made via the following link: sumakmsolidarios.es/inscripciones
