Liceo Europeo Bachillerato 1

Baccalaureate is the stage in which students consolidate their knowledge, develop intellectual autonomy, and define their university pathway.

At Liceo Europeo, we support this stage through a global vision of learning, combining academic rigor, critical thinking, international experiences and personal development with the aim of preparing students to access leading national and international universities.

The school offers three distinct academic pathways (National Program, International Baccalaureate, and American Program), allowing each student’s educational journey to be adapted to their profile, interests, and university goals.

Through personalized guidance, stimulating intellectual challenges, and an environment that encourages curiosity and initiative, students develop the academic and personal maturity needed to confidently face their future at university.

  • The level achieved in languages and academic knowledge enables students to access leading Spanish and international universities.
  • Development and application of the scientific method. Laboratory work helps consolidate learning in the sciences.
  • Students reflect on the knowledge they acquire, fostering the development of independent thinking.
  • Development of oral and written communication skills through debates, oral presentations, and similar activities.
  • Students are the protagonists of the classroom. They build and evaluate their own learning process, becoming able to recognize and understand their opportunities for improvement.

methodology

Learning in Baccalaureate is based on an active and reflective methodology that promotes student participation and the development of critical thinking.

    • Active teaching and autonomous learning, where students research, argue, and build knowledge.
    • Introduction to and deeper exploration of the scientific method, with a strong emphasis on experimental work in laboratories.
    • A truly multilingual environment, with academic work in Spanish, English, and other languages.
    • Development of communication, presentation, and debate skills.

Assessment is continuous, formative and personalized, with close monitoring of each student’s academic progress.

This process is complemented by individual tutoring, university guidance, and ongoing communication with families, creating a supportive environment that encourages responsibility and autonomy.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND VALUES

Baccalaureate at Liceo Europeo aims to educate not only strong students but also individuals who are committed, reflective, and aware of their social responsibility.

Throughout this stage, students participate in volunteer and social action programs, creativity and leadership projects and initiatives that encourage cooperation and engagement with the community.

All these experiences help develop essential values such as solidarity, respect, responsibility and a global awareness that prepares students to participate actively and responsibly in society.

WELL-BEING, CREATIVITY, AND TALENT

The school promotes the development of each student’s personal talents, offering multiple spaces to explore interests and strengthen abilities.

Among them are:

    • Public speaking and debate, with participation in national and international tournaments.
    • Artistic, sports, and technological activities that complement academic learning.
    • Editorial and creative projects, such as the school magazine.

These experiences reinforce key skills such as communication, creativity, initiative and teamwork.

UNIVERSITY GUIDANCE

During Baccalaureate, students receive personalized support in defining their academic and professional pathways.

The guidance program includes:

    • Individual advising on academic pathways.
    • Information about national and international universities.
    • Workshops on entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional skills.
    • Lectures and meetings with professionals from different sectors.

This process allows students to identify their interests, strengths, and goals, facilitating an informed university choice aligned with their profile.
