Baccalaureate is the stage in which students consolidate their knowledge, develop intellectual autonomy, and define their university pathway.

At Liceo Europeo, we support this stage through a global vision of learning, combining academic rigor, critical thinking, international experiences and personal development with the aim of preparing students to access leading national and international universities.

The school offers three distinct academic pathways (National Program, International Baccalaureate, and American Program), allowing each student’s educational journey to be adapted to their profile, interests, and university goals.

The level achieved in languages and academic knowledge enables students to access leading Spanish and international universities.
Development and application of the scientific method. Laboratory work helps consolidate learning in the sciences.
Students reflect on the knowledge they acquire, fostering the development of independent thinking.
Development of oral and written communication skills through debates, oral presentations, and similar activities.
Students are the protagonists of the classroom. They build and evaluate their own learning process, becoming able to recognize and understand their opportunities for improvement.

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is one of the most internationally recognized pre-university programs.

Its curriculum combines academic rigor, critical thinking, research, and social engagement, shaping students with a global perspective and strong analytical skills.

The integration of different areas of learning helps develop key skills for higher education: research, argumentation, time management, and intellectual autonomy.

AMERICAN PROGRAM

American High School Program with Vermont Academy

The American High School Program, developed in collaboration with Vermont Academy, allows students to complete the final two years of secondary education within the U.S. educational system, earning the American High School Diploma.

The program is delivered entirely in English and follows the U.S. academic model, based on:

- Continuous assessment
- Active class participation
- Development of projects and research work

Students enter an international educational environment that fosters personal initiative, independent thinking, and academic communication in English.

Additionally, they can participate in a variety of activities typical of the American system:

- Debate and public speaking
